Starter Pack Zine

This is a zine with 36 pages full of illustrations and advice on how to mentally prepare yourself for art school. We follow a little witch in training packing her bag with us as she prepares for the fight ahead.

It can be overwhelming and scary to decide to pursue art because the path isn't always clear. I honestly thought it would be a fun and easy ride but it was the complete opposite! I went into it straight from high school.

I’ve had a lot of time to think back on the things that I used to find so challenging and impossible during school. I almost wanted to quit but I am so glad I didn’t. I wanted to make this to encourage you to hang in there!

This is all the advice I would give myself before entering art school. I hope either you or another budding artist in your life can benefit from the lessons I've learned participating in the emotional and mental olympics I put myself through.
